June Reading Report

Now accepting theories on why the month when I’ve had the most free time has somehow been my worst reading month so far. (My current favorite is that non-procrastireading is less tempting to my brain … though that doesn’t explain the low average rating.)

  1. Oh no, I’m so sad that Cinderella Is Dead wasn’t the right fit for you! It’s my most anticipated release of this year. I’m also looking forward to The Ninth Life but I haven’t heard anything problematic about the author…do you mind telling me what’s happened?

    1. Cinderella Is Dead was definitely a case of “it’s not the book, it’s me” and I know lots of others have loved it, so I hope you enjoy it when you get to it!

tbqh everything I heard was secondhand so I don’t want to spread false or possibly inaccurate information – but I know at least one publisher (NineStar Press) has made a statement that they looked into the allegations and won’t work with the author anymore 😢
