The Identity Crisis Tag

I saw this tag a while back when Alexandra @ The Hufflepuff Nerdette did it, and it’s actually been forever since I took an online quiz so I figured why not? Since I’ve been spending too much time alone with my thoughts lately, I’ve simultaneously been feeling introspective and maybe a little too attached to fictional characters because it makes me feel less alone.

Y’know, as you do.

.

Rules:

  • Take all the quizzes down below and record your answers.
  • NO CHEATING. You get one shot to take each quiz, my friends. I’m watching you.
  • Use this post to give credit to the creator Loretta @ The Laughing Listener or tag me on twitter @LaughnListener so I can see everyone’s answers!!
  • Tag some friends to spread the fun!

Red Queen: Kilorn

Did you forget about Kilorn? Well you shouldn’t have! He may not be the center of attention but he has stuck by Mare since day one and didn’t even hesitate to join the Scarlet Guard. Just like Kilorn, your loyalty and bravery are your most admirable qualities. Rise, Red as the Dawn!

To be honest, I’ve forgotten about most of these characters since I haven’t touched the series since before the third (?) book came out. I’ve been meaning to reread and finish it, at which point I may change my mind — but from this description Kilorn sounds pretty great. I don’t consider myself especially brave, though loyalty is definitely one of my better traits.

.

Shadowhunters: Charlotte Branwell & Mark Blackthorn

You may be underestimated and some may count you out, but you’re a serious person when you need to be, and take responsibility very seriously. You’re incredibly loyal (though it may not seem like it at times), and your friends are lucky to have you.

Awwww, this is sweet. I do take responsibility very seriously, and although I haven’t been active in this fandom for years, from what I remember Charlotte and Mark are criminally underrated.

.

Throne of Glass: Dorian & Nesryn

Shockingly, you’re an overwhelmingly sarcastic bookworm! You try to look on the brighter side of things, but your snarky sense of humor hides depths of concern. You’re probably the most responsible of your friends, as they know they can always count on you.

I couldn’t get into ToG and gave up after the second book, but “overwhelmingly sarcastic bookworm” sounds about right! (Not sure why that would be shocking. 😜) While I’m not the Mom Friend, I would probably be the Designated Driver if I could drive, and I do in fact try to keep a positive outlook.

.

Hunger Games: Cinna

You don’t need to be loud and flamboyant to be popular. Your loving nature and easy personality make people warm to you. You’re creative and have many hidden talents, and although you’re not a big fighter you’ll always play a big part in peoples’ lives.

Oh, I’m not totally sure this is accurate — though I would absolutely be happy if it was, because it sounds like a lovely way to be. I don’t need the spotlight; it’s enough for me to pursue my passions and help people as I can.

.

Harry Potter: Bellatrix Lestrange

You’re attracted to powerful people. You don’t care if people hate you, as long as they’re not those you admire. Also, you’re pretty crazy.

Yikes. That’s all I have to say about this, really.

.

A Court of Thorns and Roses: Ianthe, High Priestess

Power is what you crave most in the world, and you don’t care how you get it. You’ll manipulate, cheat, and sleep your way to the top, and then enjoy every minute you spend seated on your cozy throne without a twinge of regret or conscious. Most likely a sociopath.

I find this particularly concerning in conjunction with the previous one, though I remember now that in middle / early high school I self-selected into the the Lucian branch in 39 Clues (analogous to Slytherin, though my House has always been Ravenclaw). I do want to say, in hindsight, it was more aspirational than accurate even at the time.

My point is, it’s totally untrue; I feel guilty even when I’ve done the morally right thing. I’m not a saint, but I’m certainly not a sociopath. You can ask any of my former therapists … or you could, if not for confidentiality laws.

.

The Raven Cycle: Blue Sargent

You are outspoken, and walk to the beat of your own drum. You’ve always been different, and take pride in your individualistic nature. Although you try to maintain a rebellious streak, you are consistently told that you are sensible. Remember, don’t kiss any strange boys!

In a lot of ways I think I’m actually more like Gansey, but I do relate a lot to Blue and aspire to be more like her. I’m cool with this.

.

Twilight: Charlie Swan

Hey, Charlie. You’re a cool dude. Just keep being your adorable oblivious self. Also, your daughter is now a vampire and your granddaughter is growing at the speed of life. Shouldn’t you notice that?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

.

Folk of the Air: Jude

You are strong and once you make a decision, you won’t back down. Your resilience is both admirable and terrifying at the same time.

I second-guess myself all the time, actually; that said, if it’s too late to change anything I do tend to forge ahead. And I don’t know if I’m really all that resilient, though it’s something I value and am actively working towards.

.

Lunar Chronicles: Cress

A Lunar shell confined to a satellite to aid Queen Levana with hacking and surveillance of Earthen countries. She is a petite girl with very long honey blonde hair, a heart-shaped face, and freckles. She has a very overactive imagination, and nervous around people due to her lack of social interaction growing up.

Ah, another series I gave up on and barely remember. I’m not blond nor do I have freckles, but I am petite and socially anxious with an overactive imagination. So close enough?

Still not tagging anyone while I’m on hiatus, but feel free to say I tagged you!
